Not Surprisingly, Scoring Down Too

Unless Dimitri Khristich, Eddie Olczyk or Ray Ferraro goes on a major scoring streak in the Kings’ final 12 regular-season games, the team’s leading scorer will have the lowest full-season total since 1971-72.
Khristich leads with 49 points, Olczyk has 44 and Ferraro 41. Khristich needs six more points to match Juha Widing’s total of 55 for the 1971-72 season. The lowest non-strike season total since then was Butch Goring’s 61 in 1973-74. The Kings’ all-time low for a season-leader is 42 set by Ross Lonsberry in 1969-70.
