Outlook: Led by the strongest junior class in the county, the Wildcats will emerge as a dominant power. Nelson has run 12.50 in the 100, 26.05 in the 200, 58.50 in the 400 and 2:22.1 in the 800 and is the team leader. Bonilla and McBee, who ran 47.22 and 47.79, respectively, in the 300-meter intermediate hurdles last year, are the top hurdlers. Burdett won the league 3,200 meters, and Wettlin will join the team after basketball season ends. Huddle is out indefinitely because of a broken ankle.
