6 Colleges Sponsoring Job Fair for Students

Six local community colleges will host a job fair for students Wednesday at the Orange County Fair and Exposition Center in Costa Mesa.
Students who attend will have the opportunity to talk to more than 100 professionals involved in sales, computer technology, hotel and restaurant management, health care, law enforcement, financial planning, banking and delivery service.
Susan Linn, author of “The Directory of Orange County Networking Organizations” will be the keynote speaker. She will give the lecture “Networking for Career Success” at 11:45 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. Presentations on job interviewing will given by professional counselors at 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
The job fair is sponsored by Coastline Community, Cypress, Golden West, Irvine Valley, Orange Coast and Saddleback colleges. Although Fullerton College and Rancho Santiago College are not participating in the event, students from those colleges are invited to attend.
The fair will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Building No. 10 at the fairgrounds, 88 Fair Drive. Admission and parking is free. Information: (714) 432-5576.
