Key returners: Mike Bilek, Sr.; Erik Birkelbach, So.; Matt Brandenburg, Sr.; Michael Choi, Sr.; Kareem Elsemir ,So.; Garrett Greer, Sr.; Daniel Kim, So.; Bobby Lanza, So.; Chris Lopez, So.; John Webb, Sr.
Key newcomers: Ryan Harwood, Jr.; Tom Krusic , Jr.; Mitch McCoy, Jr.; Jeff Natalizio, Fr.; Evan Schubert, Jr.; Drew Tabbert, Jr.
Outlook: Dory says Irvine has depth everywhere but the freestyle, In the 100 breaststroke, look for Kim to pick up for Steve Ronson, who graduated last year. Dory thinks the sophomore is capable of setting school records in the event. In the other events, Bilek will help in the butterfly and Greer has a good backstroke. Freshman Natalizio, who should be one of the best freshmen in the county, will add some options in relay and individual events. Although Irvine has a strong club presence, Dory says the success of the non-club swimmers will be factor in how the team finishes.
