In another South Coast League game:
Capistrano Valley 64, Mission Viejo 40--Jenny Jennings (21 points) made five three-pointers for No. 7 Capistrano Valley (18-7, 7-2), which can share the league title with an another upset of Mater Dei on Saturday.
In the Freeway League:
Troy 48, La Habra 45--Tammy Yonamine scored 18 and Heidi Hardeman 15 to lead Troy (17-4, 9-0) to its sixth consecutive league title.
Lisa Moreno scored 15 for La Habra (14-11, 6-3), which trailed by one point with three minutes remaining.
Troy’s 6-0 run put the game out of reach, though La Habra missed a three-point attempt with two seconds left.
In the Golden West League:
Ocean View 61, Westminster 25--Jennifer Tuiolosega had 25 points and six rebounds as No. 5 Ocean View (22-4, 9-0) won its fourth consecutive league title.
In the Olympic League:
Brethren Christian 57, Calvary Chapel 44--Rachael MacDonald (19 points, 14 rebounds) and Cindy Oparah (17 points, 22 rebounds) kept Brethren Christian (18-4, 8-1) in the hunt for a league title; it plays a home game Thursday against Cerritos Valley Christian.
In the Pacific Coast League:
Laguna Hills 71, Costa Mesa 49--Whitney Houser had 21 points and 10 rebounds and Tamara Inoue had 10 points and 11 assists as No. 2 Laguna Hills (22-3, 9-0) won the league title.
In the Sunset League:
Esperanza 59, Marina 54--Allison Gerber scored 20 points and Leah Combs had 17 points and 11 rebounds as No. 6 Esperanza (19-5, 8-1), the league champion, defeated No. 9 Marina (16-7, 4-5). Marisa Emde scored 21 for the Vikings.
