John Grisham’s new legal thriller, “The Partner,” will have its debut in cyberspace.
America Online announced that its book site, The Book Report (keyword: TBR), today will present the first chapter of the book, as well as a rare interview with Grisham.
On Monday, the second chapter will be available.
“The Partner” (Doubleday) goes on sale Feb. 26. It deals with the discovery of a man in Brazil who may once have swindled the other partners in a law firm.
The scheduled first printing is 2.8 million copies, the same staggering sum given to Grisham’s novel of last year, “The Runaway Jury.”
