Opponent--Vancouver Grizzlies.
Site--Sports Arena.
Time--7:30.
Radio--KGIL (1260).
Records--Clippers 16-25, Grizzlies 8-38.
Record vs. Grizzlies--1-0.
Clipper update--They have the same record at the halfway mark of the season as they had last season, when they finished 29-53. Rookie center Lorenzen Wright has shot only 33% in his last two games. Guard Brent Barry, who sat out Tuesday’s 112-96 loss to the Atlanta Hawks because of a sprained left ankle, missed practice Wednesday and isn’t expected to play tonight. The Clippers defeated the Grizzlies, 99-92, in double overtime Nov. 12 at Vancouver.
Grizzly update--The NBA’s weakest team, they have lost six in a row and 11 of their last 12. The Grizzlies are winless in three games under General Manager Stu Jackson, who replaced Brian Winters as coach last Friday. Rookie forward Shareef Abdur-Rahim is averaging a team-high 16.8 points and 6.1 rebounds.
