Perry, a freshman guard from Vallejo High, has made her mark this season as a passer for the Chargers, averaging four assists a game. But last week she stepped up as a scorer. Perry had 16 points in a 63-53 victory over Rancho Santiago Wednesday. She then came back to score 10 points and get 14 rebounds in a 65-64 victory over Riverside Friday that moved the Chargers into a first-place tie with Irvine Valley.
