SCC Men Lose in Double Overtime, 100-96

Southern California College lost to Fresno Pacific in double overtime, 100-96, Tuesday in a Golden State Athletic Conference men’s basketball game in Fresno.
Rod Scheuerman scored 26 points and Adam Dzierzynski added 22 points, including two three-pointers at the end of regulation to force the first overtime, for SCC (13-7, 0-3 in conference).
Fresno Pacific is 13-5, 3-0.
In another conference game:
Concordia 74, Point Loma Nazarene 72--Kalim Scott scored 22 points for the host Eagles (8-10, 1-2).
In Golden State Athletic Conference women’s basketball:
Concordia 94, Point Loma Nazarene 78--Angela Sather scored 26 points and Heather Carll had 22 points and 14 rebounds for Concordia (13-5, 2-1).
Fresno Pacific 67, Southern California College 54--Elaine Whittemore scored 23 points for SCC (13-4, 2-1).
In nonconference women’s basketball:
Chapman 74, Claremont 68 (OT)--Lyndsay Brown had 20 points and 14 rebounds for host Chapman (10-4).
In nonconference men’s volleyball:
Long Beach State 3, Cal State San Bernardino 0--Gaby Amar had 17 kills for Long Beach (4-0), which won, 15-7, 15-2, 15-13.
