The sixth man in basketball can be an asset and the Griffins have an especially valuable one in Garibay. Last week, he had 22 points, including 19 in the second half and overtime, in a 77-73 victory over Marina. In a 61-55 victory over Fountain Valley, he had 14 points, six assists and seven steals.

* Servite, senior. Scored two second-half goals, including the tying goal with eight minutes left, in a 3-3 tie with Saddleback.
Ty Wilcox/Wrestling/160 Pounds
* Calvary Chapel, senior. Named outstanding wrestler of Five Counties Invitational after a 9-1 victory in the division final.
