Flammable Items Found at Blast Site

The pavement and sidewalks around a San Juan building torn apart by a deadly explosion show the presence of combustible materials, the National Transportation Safety Board said. Authorities had suspected a gas leak in the blast, which shattered the six-story building and killed at least 27 people and injured 82. About 20 people remain missing. The test results fueled suspicions that the building may have been destroyed intentionally. The tests did not identify the flammable items or determine whether they were present when the blast occurred, NTSB spokesman Bob Barlett said.
