Ojai Library Also Open 7 Days a Week

The plan to extend library hours in Thousand Oaks is good news indeed, but Miguel Bustillo’s article Nov. 16 fails to point out that another public library in Ventura County is already open seven days a week.

Thanks to passage of a local parcel tax measure earlier this year, the Ojai Library is now open Monday-Sunday, providing 55 hours of welcome service to our community each week. We in Ojai are proud of the voters who have made this schedule possible and feel Times readers should be aware of our community’s strong commitment and support of library services.
