Leads Sought in Car Dealership Arson
Oxnard police detectives are searching for leads on an arson that gutted the Mike Wallace Ford dealership last week, causing an estimated $2.5 million in damages.
An arsonist apparently poured flammable liquid throughout the dealership’s offices and ignited it before dawn on Nov. 13, investigators say. Police are looking for anyone who might have information related to the blaze.
“We don’t have any leads at this point,” said Det. Ken Kent of the Oxnard Police Department. “We’re asking the public’s assistance. Anyone that might have seen something and could let us know.”
Tips can be given anonymously, Kent said. Anyone with any information should call Kent at 385-7660, or Det. Dan Klug at 385-7662.
