Police Arrest 17 Men During Buena Park Prostitution Sting

BUENA PARK — Police arrested 17 men Friday on charges of soliciting sex from undercover officers posing as prostitutes.
Buena Park police conducted the reverse sting operation for several hours along Stanton Avenue with help from Fullerton police. The sting netted 16 motorists and one man on a bicycle who solicited sex from the undercover officers beginning at 7 p.m.
All were cited and released, Buena Park police said.
The sting was part of ongoing efforts to cut down on prostitution on and around Beach Boulevard, just west of Stanton Avenue.
