The body of a 15-year-old boy who had been shot to death was found Saturday in a vacant building being shown by a real estate agent to a prospective buyer in Lancaster, authorities said.
“Apparently he was shot to death and this real estate agent found him,” said Sgt. Richard Dinsmoor, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The boy was found about 3:30 p.m. in a building on the 43400 block of 10th Street West, Dinsmoor said.
The teenager’s identity had not been disclosed late Saturday, and the killing remained under investigation.
