Storyopolis to Host Holiday ‘Hootenanny’

A “Halloween Hootenanny,” featuring wacky, elaborate Halloween decor by the event’s headliner, children’s author-illustrator William Joyce, will be held at Storyopolis, 116 N. Robertson Blvd., Plaza A, on Oct. 26 from 4 to 8 p.m.
The event, open to adults and children, is in celebration of Joyce’s newest book, “The Leaf Man and the Brave Good Bugs,” and includes book signings, a costume contest, Halloween treats and a “Monster Craft” activity. Admission is free; craft participation, $6.
