Haunted houses, fall festivals and trick-or-treat trips are among Halloween activities for children and adults across Orange County this weekend through Thursday. Some of the events, by city:

Fall Festival
West Harbor Place downtown Saturday; pancake breakfast, 7 a.m.; parade, 11 a.m.; kiddie carnival, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Also chili cook-off, entertainment, Police and Fire Department demonstrations, Disney Ice open house.

Medieval Madness Haunted House

Trick-or-Treating Anaheim Hills Festival
Santa Ana Canyon and Roosevelt roads, 3-5 p.m. Saturday; Also, Nightmares ’96 haunted house, 7 p.m.-midnight Friday and Saturday, 7-10 p.m. Sunday, across from the center’s Edwards Theaters; continues 5-10 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 7 p.m.-midnight Thursday through Nov. 2, Cost: $6 for adults, $3 for children under 10.
