Nation of Islam Calls for Atonement

Louis Farrakhan’s Nation of Islam called for the nations of the world to atone for injustices in its rally today to commemorate the first anniversary of the Million Man March. “We intend to call upon all nations, all governments, to end injustice, to end exploitation, to end oppression, to end war, to end violence,” said Benjamin F. Chavis Jr., former executive director of the NAACP. The march in New York near the U.N. is expected to draw 100,000 people.
