Re “Residents of Quiet Enclave Picket Parties at Mansion,” Oct. 5:
Someone should have reminded Mark Slotkin that a party for charity is still a party and he has no right to disturb citizens in the area. My hat is off to the people who took part in the protest.
I live in an area where loud parties are held every weekend and we are afraid to protest, in fear of someone getting their head blown off. Maybe the protest will send a loud enough message to City Hall to enact (and enforce) disturbance laws that will be a benefit to all citizens of Los Angeles.
