WASHINGTON — Deadlines are approaching for people who want to mail holiday cards, letters and gifts overseas, the Postal Service said.
The deadline for airmail packages, cards and letters is Dec. 9 for most countries, but well-wishers may also use international express mail for last-minute mailings.
To send holiday items to people in the military, the deadline is Nov. 1 for less expensive surface rates and Dec. 2 for airmail service.
