Antelope Valley Whips Canadians in Blowout, 52-0

LANCASTER — Antelope Valley High cruised to a 52-0 victory over M.E. Lazerete from Edmonton, Alberta, in a nonleague opener Friday night at Antelope Valley.
The Antelopes scored 31 points in the first quarter, piled up 345 rushing yards and were in control throughout the game.
The sibling duo of quarterback Justin Mobley and running back Eric Mobley were responsible for 29% of the offense and three touchdowns.
Justin Mobley passed for 78 yards and one touchdown and Eric rushed nine times for 84 yards and two touchdowns.
Lorenzo Moore ran for 76 yards and Nakia Manick ran for 66 yards, each scoring a touchdown.
Running back Tony Walker scored three touchdowns, two on the ground and one receiving.
Walker ran three times for 96 yards and two touchdowns and caught a 30-yard touchdown pass.
The Antelopes overwhelmed the Voyageurs with their size and speed and had the advantage of playing under American football rules, which are somewhat different from Canadian rules.
