Willis Transfers From Northridge to NAIA School

Josh Willis, who was declared academically ineligible to play basketball at Cal State Northridge, has transferred to Presentation College, an NAIA school in Aberdeen, S.D.
Willis, a graduate of Crescenta Valley High, played three seasons at Northridge.
The 6-foot-6 forward will have one year of eligibility remaining at Presentation.
Golf
Bob Brogan of Woodland Hills advanced to the quarterfinals of the U.S. Senior Amateur Championship before losing, 4 and 3, to 1994 champion O. Gordon Brewer of Huntingdon Valley, Pa., at the Taconic Golf Club in Williamstown, Mass.
Brogan squeaked into the quarterfinals with two match-play victories Tuesday, both going to the 19th hole.
Pepperdine freshman Jenny Glasgow shot final-round 70 for a three-round total of 221 to lead the Waves’ women’s team to a second-place finish in the Cowgirl fall classic at Fort Collins, Colo.
