Bravo is screening two key Czech films of the ‘60s. Both are engaging works made during a brief period of relatively free expression: Jiri Menzel’s Oscar-winning 1966 tragicomic Closely Watched Trains (Monday at 5 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.; Tuesday at 9 a.m.), about a hapless train dispatcher in World War II; and Milos Forman’s boisterous 1968 The Firemen’s Ball (Monday at 8 p.m.; Tuesday at 12:45 p.m.), about a small-town event that reels exuberantly out of control.
