Bullfrogs Rally in Second Half, Defeat Coyotes

Darren Perkins had two goals and three assists as the Bullfrogs bounced back from a recent loss with a 9-7 victory over the Oklahoma Coyotes Saturday at the Myriad Arena in Oklahoma City.
The Bullfrogs received two power-play goals from Todd Wetzel, a goal by B.J Macpherson and a goal by rookie Jim Ficenec, the first of his career, to turn a one-goal deficit into a three-goal lead late in the third quarter.
The Bullfrogs, who lost Thursday night to San Jose in a shootout, scored five power-play goals as they improved their overall record to 6-1-1 with 13 points.
Goalie Eric Raymond improved his record to 4-0 as he gave up only two goals in the second half.
The Bullfrogs and the Coyotes play again Wednesday night at the Pond. Both teams will be missing a player because of a game misconduct for fighting Saturday night. The Bullfrogs will be without forward Darren Banks and the Coyotes will miss Rob Weingartner.
