CompCare to Sell Closed CareUnit Hospital

CORONA DEL MAR — Comprehensive Care Corp. said Thursday it is selling its closed 100-bed CareUnit Hospital of San Diego for $2 million to Canyon-Cahan Properties.
Chriss W. Street, chairman and chief executive officer of CompCare, said the sale of the hospital, which has been closed several years, “is in line with our strategy to dispose of free-standing facilities.” CompCare provides health-care management services.
