Japan OKs Sale of Luther Medical Catheters

TUSTIN — Luther Medical Products Inc. said Tuesday that its Japanese distributor, Medical Japan Ltd., has been granted approval by the Japanese Ministry of Health to import and sell Luther Medical’s adult intravenous catheters in Japan.
The company has traditionally sold only pediatric and neonatal catheter products in the Japanese market, which accounted for about 15% of Luther Medical’s sales in the last fiscal year.
