Garden Grove 14, Foothill 4--Ninth-ranked Garden Grove (11-2) won all nine doubles sets, including a 6-1, 6-3, 6-0 sweep by Alex Iha and Huy Le.

In the Orange League:

Brea Olinda 16, Valencia 8--Scott Koller swept in singles, 6-0, 6-0, then teamed with Ben Springer to win at doubles, 6-1, for 10th-ranked Brea Olinda (12-0, 1-0).

Savanna 13, Western 11--Vu Duong and Khanh Phan won both their singles sets, then teamed for a 6-4 victory in doubles for Savanna (2-8, 1-0).

In nonleague golf:

Santa Margarita 184, Sunny Hills 191--Medalist Jin Park shot three-under 33 for Sunny Hills at the Coto de Caza north course. Steve Wagner and Jimmy Dunn each shot 36s for Santa Margarita (9-0), which had five players shoot 38 or better.

Whittier Christian 199, Savanna 203--Manny Hayes shot one-under 34 at Dad Miller for Whittier Christian.

In nonleague softball:

Aliso Niguel 5, Corona del Mar 1--Candice Heath was three for three with a triple and an RBI for Aliso Niguel (4-10).

Foothill 5, Fountain Valley 1--Marie Gieron hit a three-run home run and pitched a four-hitter for visiting Foothill (13-1), ranked No. 1 in Orange County.

Huntington Beach 4, Ocean View 3--Heather Hibben pitched a two-hitter for Huntington Beach (5-2) at Worthy Park.

Pacifica 1, Kennedy 0 (8)--Tiffany Wallace’s one-out double scored Dara Webb in the bottom of the eighth and Toni Mascarenas pitched a three-hitter for third-ranked Pacifica (11-1). Seventh-ranked Kennedy is 8-5.

Whittier Christian 4, University 1--Jodi Alessi hit a bases-loaded triple in the third for visiting Whittier Christian (4-5).

In Century League boys’ swimming:

Foothill 123, El Modena 47--Robby Arroyo won the 100 freestyle in 50.8 and was on the winning 200 medley relay team for second-ranked Foothill (7-1, 2-0).

In the Empire League:

El Dorado 106, Cypress 60--John Jo won the 100 freestyle (49.59) and the 100 breaststroke (1:05.39) for El Dorado (4-2, 2-0).

In Century League girls’ swimming:

Villa Park 92, Orange 78--Jenny Michel, Maureen Dunn, Sarah Gertler and Jessica Klugman won the 400 freestyle relay for visiting Villa Park (5-0, 2-0), which won the meet although Orange won seven of the 11 events.

In the Empire League:

El Dorado 115, Cypress 54--Jessamyn Grewal won the 50 freestyle (26.89) and the 100 breaststroke (1:15.84) for El Dorado (2-4, 2-0).

In the Sea View League:

Corona del Mar 85, El Toro 85--Lara Reaves won the 100 butterfly (1:02.1) and 500 freestyle (5:24) and was on the winning 200 and 400 freestyle teams for the Chargers, ranked second in the county.
