Flower Vendor Killed by Van

NORTH HOLLYWOOD — A vendor selling flowers near a North Hollywood intersection Friday night was struck and killed by a van, which then sped away, Los Angeles police said.
The unidentified vendor was killed about 8:40 p.m. near the intersection of Sherman Way and Laurel Canyon Boulevard, LAPD Officer Mark Schneider said.
Police said a suspect was arrested.
