Foote Cone Gets Entire S.C. Johnson Ad Account: S.C. Johnson & Son Inc. said it was dismissing 27 other agencies around the world to give all its ad business to Chicago-based Foote Cone & Belding, which has been among its agencies for more than 40 years. A growing list of multinational marketers are consolidating their global advertising assignments with a single agency in hopes of creating more effective sales messages. Privately owned, Racine, Wis.-based Johnson, the maker of household products such as Raid insecticide, Windex glass cleaner and Drano drain opener, declined to say how much it spends annually on advertising, but one source familiar with the matter said it is $300 million to $350 million.
