Record Profit for Bridgford Foods

ANAHEIM — Bridgford Foods Corp. posted record profit on higher sales for the fiscal year ended Nov. 3, the producer of convenience food products said Thursday.
Net income rose 8% to $6.6 million, or 70 cents a share, from $6.1 million, or 65 cents a share, for the prior year. Sales increased 3% to $112.5 million from $108.9 million.
Profit for the fourth quarter rose 5% to $2 million, or 22 cents a share, from $1.9 million, or 20 cents a share, for the corresponding period last year. Sales were up 11% to $31.4 million from $28.4 million.
