Council Members Forgot Promises
When Thousand Oaks council members Mike Markey, Andy Fox and Judy Lazar ran for office, they all campaigned on upholding the General Plan and the city’s high planning standards. They maintained that they had an open mind on the Adventist development proposal and that they would deliberate on the merits of the case.
Yet, when the time came to vote, it was 3-2 like clockwork, with the three siding with the developer interests and selling our beautiful city down the river of overdevelopment.
I guess talk is cheap.
