Mark Chapin Johnson, chairman designate of the Orange County Performing Arts Center’s board of directors, has donated $200,000 to the center’s 1995 Annual Fund Campaign. The $4.6-million campaign supports center operations. A total of $50,000 of Johnson’s gift is earmarked for education programs. Johnson is chief executive officer of Chapin Medical Co., a biotechnology and pharmaceutical firm in Corona.

Target Stores have donated $5,000 to the Children’s Museum at La Habra. The money will support the museum’s annual Children’s Arts Festival Day next year.
