Porter Scores 28, Irvine Valley Wins

Josh Porter had six three-pointers and scored 28 points to help Irvine Valley defeat Cerro Coso, 87-54, Tuesday in the first round of the Riverside men’s basketball tournament.
Porter, a sophomore forward, was 10 for 17 from the field, including six for 11 on three-point attempts.
J.C. Timmons added 10 for Irvine Valley (4-4), which led at the half, 47-22.
