Brett Favre’s signature wasn’t the only autograph obtained by the head linesman before Sunday’s Tampa Bay-Green Bay game.
Buccaneer running back Errict Rhett said that he also signed football cards for the official, Jerry Bergman, who visited the locker rooms of both teams and told the players he wanted the autographs for his grandson.
Tampa Bay linebacker Hardy Nickerson, who was ejected in the fourth quarter after taking an open-handed swing at Packer center Frank Winters, also was asked for an autograph but didn’t sign.

The NFL has pushed back the due date to Dec. 7 for payment of a relocation fee that was part of the deal allowing the Rams to move to St. Louis, as officials try to negotiate a smaller payment. The $20-million fee from the St. Louis Convention and Visitors Commission was originally due Nov. 22. The NFL earlier granted a delay to Nov. 30.
