BofA and NationsBank Line Up Home-Banking Allies: Meca Software, a Connecticut-based publisher of the Managing Your Money home-computer program, announced that three large banks will join BankAmerica Corp. and NationsBank Corp. in a venture to develop the market for computer-based home banking. BofA and NationsBank bought Meca earlier this year to compete with other home-banking software from Intuit Inc. and Microsoft Corp. Meca said First Bank System Inc. of Minneapolis, Fleet Financial Group. of Providence, R.I., and Royal Bank of Canada, Canada’s largest bank, had joined their system.
