Belmont 34, North Hollywood 30--Eduardo Vargas scored on a two-yard run with 17 seconds left to lift the Sentinels (5-6) to an upset over the fourth-seeded Huskies (5-5-1) at North Hollywood.
Vargas completed eight of 14 passes for 104 yards and rushed for 106 yards and two touchdowns in 13 carries.
North Hollywood’s James Mock rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns in three carries. Dante Clay rushed for 69 yards in 13 carries. He had a 60-yard run nullified by a holding penalty.
