4.7 Quake Hits Reno Area

A magnitude 4.7 earthquake struck an area near the California-Nevada line 15 miles northwest of Reno at 12:34 p.m. Wednesday, and was felt as far away as Sacramento. It caused no damage or injuries, the National Earthquake Information Center at Golden, Colo., reported.
