Schvaneveldt Wins 3,000th Los Al Race

Trainer Blane Schvaneveldt saddled his 3,000th winner at Los Alamitos Saturday night when Million Dollar Down won the eighth race, a trial to the PCQHRA Breeders’ Futurity.

Schvaneveldt is the only quarter horse trainer in history to win 3,000 races at a track.

Schvaneveldt is the all-time leading trainer at Los Alamitos, with 282 stakes victories to his credit. He has been the leading trainer 36 times, including 16 of the past 20 years.
