COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Concordia Beats Redlands in Women’s Volleyball

Elaini Kollias and Amy Bonacorsi each had 11 kills as Concordia defeated Redlands, 15-1, 15-12, 15-4, Friday night in nonconference women’s volleyball.
Freshman Jeni Hoffman had a season-high 10 kills to lead Concordia (8-7). Redlands is 3-10.
In nonconference men’s soccer:
Washington 3, UC Irvine 0--The Anteaters had only nine shots on goal, compared to 17 for Washington (3-2-1). UC Irvine drops to 2-5-0.
In nonconference women’s soccer:
Pacific 2, CS Fullerton 1--Yvette Valdez had a Pacific single-game record 19 saves. Caren Morgan scored 12 minutes into the game for Fullerton.
In nonconference women’s soccer:
UC Irvine 2, Gonzaga (Wash.) 0--Traci Manz and Nicole Bucciarelli each scored for UC Irvine.
In nonconference women’s volleyball:
Chapman 3, Claremont 0--Shawna Parkinson had 10 kills for Chapman (5-2), which won, 15-5, 15-7, 15-8. Chapman is ranked 12th in the nation in Division III.
