Riverside Poly 30, Palmdale 16--Running back Michael Brewer rushed for 248 yards and four touchdowns in 26 carries to lead the Bears at Palmdale.

Riverside Poly (2-1) scored first on Michael Brewer’s 27-yard run.

Palmdale (1-2) then punted to the Bears’ seven-yard line. On the next play Zimbalist Carter fumbled and Scott Cundiff recovered on the Riverside Poly 3-yard line. Shawn Griffin followed with a three-yard scoring run.

With only 30 seconds left in the first half and Riverside Poly on the Falcon three-yard line, Carter’s pass was intercepted by Palmdale’s Pat Opperman.

The Bears rushed for 425 yards and Palmdale finished with 125.
