Southeast : Norwalk to Offer Free Low-Flush Toilets
- Share via
Norwalk residents soon will be able to flush with a clear conscience.
The city will offer water-conserving toilets free to residents next month as part of a pilot program to conserve water. About 1,700 low-flush toilets will be available Oct. 7 at John Glenn High School at 13520 Shoemaker Ave.
The toilets use less than half the amount of water necessary for traditional toilets, thereby cutting water bills by up to a third, officials said.
