In other nonconference women’s volleyball:

Orange Coast 3, San Diego Mesa 1--Heather Daze and Lisa Sweesy had 13 kills each for Orange Coast (2-1), which won, 15-4, 12-15, 15-12, 15-8. Jennifer Minor had a match-high 17 kills for San Diego Mesa (0-3).

In nonconference men’s soccer:

Rancho Santiago 2, Southwestern 0--After a scoreless first half, Gus Plasencia and Raul Moncada scored second-half goals for Rancho Santiago (4-1). Santiago Guzman had three saves to get the shutout.

In nonconference women’s soccer:

Rancho Santiago 4, San Diego 0--Gabby Godinez, Mimi Gomez, Allison Rudd and Robyn Camarillo scored goals and goalkeeper Sandra Toscano had her third shutout for Rancho Santiago (3-1).
