Last season, Keyser didn’t play in the Eagles’ match against Santa Barbara San Marcos, a 10-8 loss. Keyser was there for the rematch this season and Friday led her team, unranked in the preseason Division I poll, to a 10-8 victory over No. 6 San Marcos. She won her singles sets, 6-0, 6-1, 6-1. Keyser also swept her sets, 6-2, 6-2, 6-0, in a 17-1 victory over Aliso Viejo Thursday. “She’ll be playing for someone else after she’s done with high school, that’s for sure,” Santa Margarita assistant coach Doug Williams said.

* El Modena. Finished fourth, fifth and sixth, running 15 minutes 42 seconds over a 2 1/2-mile course at the Las Vegas Invitational, leading the Vanguards to the large-schools team title.

* Laguna Beach, senior. Won her singles sets, 7-5, 6-2, 6-0, in a 13-5 victory over Capistrano Valley.

* Huntington Beach, senior. Had 26 kills in the Oilers’ 13-15, 15-7, 15-10, 18-16 victory over San Clemente.
