‘I Fell in Love’

On July 18, 1993, you ran a story on Honfleur, the picturesque fishing town in northern France (“Jewel of the Normandy Coast”). I fell in love. This article went into my “if-I-ever-get-there” file until this year, when we took my dream trip to France. We not only visited Honfleur, but we stayed at Hotel du Cheval Blanc, the hotel recommended in your article. It was charming, reasonable, well-located and had a spectacular view. But more than that, the owners, Alain and Elizabeth Petit, were wonderful. My husband and I give you, Honfleur and the Petits a 10+!
