Let Commissioners Experience Airport
* This letter is addressed with sympathy to all the people who do not live in Glendale or Pasadena but who do suffer from the noise and traffic congestion ad nauseam generated by Burbank Airport.
The Glendale and Pasadena airport commissioners, far removed from the airport problems suffered by others, seem to feel that any and all airport complainers are “wimps” who should grow up, stop complaining, and learn to live with the airport, its attendant problems, its possible improvement/enlargement and, for heaven’s sake, stop whining about a curfew!
So the time is 11 p.m. or 2 a.m. or 4 a.m.--hey, they woke you with the engine noise or changing the prop pitch! Let those wonderful Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena airport commissioners know what it’s like to live with the airport.
GEORGE L. GLEASON JR.
