Platinum Will Issue 1.1 Million Shares

IRVINE — Platinum Software Corp. said it will issue more than 1.1 million shares to redeem a $15-million debenture it paid out as part of a class-action lawsuit settlement in June, 1994.
The company had issued the $15-million debenture and paid $2 million cash at the time to settle the suit, which had challenged the company’s accounting practices.
