Newport Beach : Anti-Child Abuse Group Seeks Members

Los Compadres, a group that helps support Olive Crest Homes & Services for Abused Children, is seeking new members.
The volunteer group organizes fund-raising events and outings for children in Olive Crest care and makes improvements at the agency’s homes.
The membership meeting will be at 6 p.m. Aug. 8 at the Cannery, 3010 Lafayette Ave., Newport Beach. Information: (714) 543-5437, Ext. 152.
