A suspected embezzler profiled on television was arrested Friday after detectives were told about his where abouts by viewers of “L.A.’s Most Wanted Show,” the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.
Channing Wong, 37, was arrested at his Rowland Heights home about 9 a.m. He was ordered held on $250,000 bail.
Wong is accused of telling businessmen in Diamond Bar and La Puente that he was buying securities for them, then using $50,000 of their money for other purposes, deputies said.
