Newt and GOP: What’s a Poor Kid to Do?
* We read that the mean, nasty Republicans are at it again. Now they are targeting the children of the poor. They are trying to cut funding for $5-an-hour McJobs for the kiddies.
Consider the plight of poor Joel Mancilla, 16, of San Fernando. All little Joel wants is to go to law school. But now the heartless Newtonians are refusing to give little Joel the McJob he needs to buy a car. The next thing you know, those meanies in Congress might not send him to a good law school! Perhaps they won’t even send him to law school at all. They probably don’t want to give him a job with a really good law firm either.
How is little Joel supposed to keep from starving if the government won’t give him the law degree he needs?
