Chamber Pushes for Mutual Discount Offers

Members of the Greater Ventura Chamber of Commerce are being offered a chance to promote business by offering discounts to one another.
The chamber is encouraging its members to give 10% to 15% discounts on products or services purchased by fellow members. Service businesses such as repair shops and health providers might allow the first hour free of charge, the group suggests.
Those taking part in the program will have a special logo placed after their listings in the chamber’s 1995-96 membership directory.
